Yarn
Svarta Faret Ulrika (50 g/1.8 0z // 100 m/109 yds): 1/5 ball needed for both colors
Needles
5 dpns 4.0 mm or size needed to obtain gauge (21 stitches x 28 rows for 10 x 10 cm)
Size
Large - add 4 sts Medium - follow the pattern Small - remove 4 sts
Instructions
The wristband is worked in the round using double knitting. Use the first color (black in the example) Cast on 28 stitches and put 7 stitches each on 4.0 mm needles. Knit with both colors and make sure that the first color (black) is first in every pair. Knit 3 rows using double knitting technique (knit black in black and purl red in red). Switch to use the second color (red in the example) for knitting the first stitch in each pair and knit 2 rows. Knit the rebel mark according to the chart switching to knit the first color (black) in the first stitch in the pair for all black squares. Knit 2 rows using the second color (red) for knitting the first stitch in each pair. Switch to using the first color (black) for knitting the first stitch in each pair and knit 4 rows. Cast off using only the first color (black). Weave in all loose ends.
