Pattern:

Toe Using a figure 8 cast on CO 16 inches, knit one row even, dividing the stitches onto 4 needles mark the end of the row R1: k1, MRon needles 1, ktolast stitch on needle 2 M1L, K2, ML on neede 3, Ktolast stitch on Needle 4M1R R2: work even R3-6: repeat rows 1 and 2 (28 stitches total) Foot R1: use 1:1 rib on needles 1 and 2, needle 3: P1, C3F, needle 4: C3B, P1 R2-3:work even Repeat rows 1-3 until foot measures 2.5 inches less than the length of your foot Heel R1: Sl1, work, 13, maintain rib (put all stitches on one needle) R2: turn, SI1p, maintain rib Repeat until flap is 2.5 inches long R1: SI1, work 8, SSK, K1 R2: turn and SI1p, work 3, P2tg, K1 R3: turn and Sl1, work 4, SSK, K1 R4: turn and Sl1p, work 5, P2tg, K1 R5: turn and Sl1, work 6, SSK R6: turn and Sl1p, work 6, P2tg Turn and maintaining rib, work 4 stitches. Pick up another needle and work 4 more stitches, pick up and knit 6 stitches along the edge. P1, K12, p1 on the next two needles. Pick up 6 stitches along the edge and work 4 stitches. Finish

Turn inside out; turn down flap you just created toward inside of sock and tack down with tail Weave in CO tail. Block if necessary.
