Notes:
· It is recommended that you knit a 6" by 6" swatch and block it before beginning your project. This will not only help determine gauge, but also make sure the fabric has the drape you like. The patern is easily modifiled in both width and length; ight ingering or fingering weight yarn could be used. 1. The pattern is worked over an od number of stitches. 2. Modifications may affet needle size, gauge, and the amount o yardage required. Only one color is worked at a time. Color changes are carried up the wrong side of the piece as noted in the instructions. · The row after the horizontal braid has a tendency to be loose. It is recommended that a needle two sizes smaller than the larger needle be used to work the braid row and maintain the correct tension. ·To provide a nice finished edge, the last stitch of each row is slipped purl-wise with the yarn in front. This is included in the pattern instructions. The pattern is worked in two equal parts and grafted together at center back. k= knit pm=placemarker m1L =make on left p=purl sm = slip marker wyif = with yarn in front st(s) = stitch(es) sl 1 = slip 1 stitch ssk = slip 1 st knit-wise, slip 2nd st purl-wise, knit both sts together thru the back loop
