Clinor hawlette
A small shawl knit sideways.

This little shawl is the perfect accessory for chilly days. It's big enough to be wrapped around the neck and draping beautifully while using only one skein of sock yarn. The Elinor Shawlette is knit as a long and shallow triangle in plain stockinette and adorned with a traditional but non-fussy lace border. The special twist is that it's knit in one piece from side to side: The increases take place opposite the lace section while the shaping is done with short rows. In short all a girl with a lot of sense could ask for! You may work the lace border by chart or written instructions. Materials: Needles: 3mm circular needle, tapestry needle to weave in ends, pins for blocking. Yarn: 100g of Sock Yarn. It uses just under 400m. Shown in Mondial Ciao, 420m/100g (offwhite nr. 426) Stitch marker Size: width: 32cm,length: 165cm Gauge: 26sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10cm
