Teddy Bear Ears

This pattern is only for the bear ears, not the hat shown.
Add bear ears to any hat and make your bear cub happy. These ears look good on both sides and stand up nice and tall. Hook: Use the suggested hook for your yarn. If knitting a hat, use the same .mm size as your needles.
Stitches Used (US):
ch = chain stitch st or sts = stitch or stitches sc=single crochet dc = double crochet
Begin Pattern:
Row 1: Leave an 8 inch tail, ch4. Make 9 dc in first ch. Turn. (10 sts) Row 2: ch1, (sc in first stitch 2 sc in next) to end.Turn. (15 sts) Row 3: sl st across all sts. (15 sts) Leave another 8 inch tail and fasten off. Make 2. Pin in place symmetrically. Stitch the ears on using the tails. Add a bow for girl cubs. Beary Cute!
