You will need: Some DK green and purple yarn, Black yarn, Black beads (optional), Black eyelash yarn, Tapestry needle, Sewing needle, Wadding (optional but recommended), Set of 3.25mm dpns.
Abbreviations
Sts=Stitches Rnds=Rounds K2tog=Knit 2 together K=Knit
Body & Head
Cast On 18 sts in purple onto 3 needles, 6 sts on each. knit 7 rnds, Change to green knit 7 rnds rnd 15: (K2tog, K4) all around rnd 16: (K2t0g, K3) all around rnd 17: K2tog until end rnd 18: K2tog until end Break thread and draw through sts Turn inside out and sew wadding according to shape (optional).
Arms (make 2)
Pick up 4 sts, 1 row above the purple knit 3 rows i-cord in green Break thread and draw through sts
Eyes
Embroider eyes or sew on beads about 3 rows above the purple and 3 sts away from the arms.
Eyebrows (make 2)
Embroider a line just above the eyes, diagonally slanting upwards, outwards.
Mouth
Embroider 3 horizontal lines below and in-between the eyes.
Hair
For hair, eyelash yarn works very well. Bundle together and sew down in the middle.
