Mesh Panel Tee

Notes: I loved the colour of this yarn when I found it and thought it would make a beautiful sweater, so I decided to double the yarn up and knit one!. This sweater uses the contiguous method of knitting developed by Susie Myers (SusieM on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/ people/SusieM)). Knit from the top down using clever increases to shape the shoulders and sleeve caps, this method allows the knitter to knit a top down, seamless sweater with set-in sleeves in one piece. My sweater is a simple boat-neck style tee with a lovely easy lace panel inset above the bust. Size: Sweater Bust size (This top is meant to have 5-10cm (2-4") negative ease. Modeled in smallest size with 10cm (4") negative ease) 71.1 (76.2, 86.4, 96.5, 101.6, 111.8)cm; 28(30, 34, 38, 40, 44)

2 skeins of Madelinetosh, Tosh Lace (100% Superwash merino wool) I only used 110 grams (3.9oz) (a skein is 115g (4oz)) for my top, so in theory it was 1 skein, but I wouldn't risk it... Size 3.75 (US 5) circular needle (whichever length you prefer) or size needed to obtain gauge Set of 3.75 dpns (I prefer magic loop for sleeves) Wasteyarn Tapestryneedle Stitch markers
Gauge:
Stockinette: 22 sts and 28 rows = 10cm (4") with TWO strands held together Lace: 19 sts and 24 rows= 10cm (4") with ONE strand, slightly stretched a note about gauge: the lace panel does change the gauge of the stockinette both above and below for several rounds, making it somewhere closer to 20 sts over 10cm (4"). The pattern has been designed with that in mind.
