You will be crocheting the first Rnd on the body. Rnd 1: With White Yarn, starting on top of body, insert hook in st and pull yarn through to form a loop; secure loop with a sl st. Work 8 sc around by inserting crochet hook into sc directly in body - sl st to first loop at end of round (use stitch marker to mark beginning of round)

ForBoy: Sash and Bow: For Sash, With Turquoise yarn, ch 26 Rows 1-3: Sc across, ch 1, turn. Do not ch 1 at end of last round. Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. For Bow, With Turquoise Yarn, ch 9 Rows 1-6: Sc across, ch 1, turn. Do not ch 1 at end of last round. Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. Assemble bow following same directions above. Arms: (Make 4) Ch 2 Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 8 sc Rnds 2-7: Sc in each sc around Fasten off, leave a tail long enough for sewing. Lightly stuff arms. Ears: (Make 4) Ch 3 Row 1: Sc in sec ch from hook, 2 sc in last st. Fasten off; leave a tail long enough for sewing. For Wand: 1. Cut $6"$ piece of gold metallic pipe cleaner. 2. Fold in half and twist, flatten one end. 3. Take 2 large gold foam stars - place one star on a flat surface. Position the flattened end of the pipe cleaner in center of star. 4. Apply glue - spread glue to all tips of the star (TIP: I use a toothpick to spread the glue). 5. Place the second large gold foam star over the glued portion, matching tips.

6. Press for just a few seconds until stars are sticking. Allow to dry completely before proceeding. (TIP: I used a heavy weighted object over the star to make sure both pieces adhere). To Assemble: 1. Attach head to body - weave in yarn. 2. Sew ears on each side of head. 3. Position and sew pink cap on girls head and turquoise cap on boys head. 4. Attach small bow to side of head (turquoise for boy and pink for girl). 5. Attach arms, just below head. 6. For the boy, attach the sash just below the arms. Attach bow to sash. I chose to have two strands of yarn hanging to complete the bow. 7. For the girl, secure wand to hand by sewing it in. 8. For the girl, glue the two small gold foam stars on side of cap. 9. Using black embroidery floss, sew smiley mouth. 10. Weave in excess yarn. Little Foam Stars by Darice. Available at any craft store. I purchased mine from Michaels Arts and Crafts.

Each doll measures $5"$ tall Happy Crocheting!
