This pattern is written in American terms and common abbreviations: yo (yarn over), sc (single crochet), hdc (half double crochet), dc (double crochet), tc (triple crochet), sc inc (sc two stitches in the same stitch/space), sc inv bind off (sc invisible bind off, photo tutorial on pages 4) Black ww yarn (I used about / skein of I Love This Cotton) White ww yarn (I used just shy of 2 skeins of Sugar N Cream) Small amount of “glass" color of choice (I used gray but feel free to use recipient's favorite color) Yarnneedle Size G (4.00 mm) hook SizeI hook With Black: (make 20) Round 1: Magic circle, ch 2, sc 6 inside loop, pull tight Round 2: 2 sc in each space around (14) Round 3: \*2 sc, sc Repeat from \* around (21) Round 4: \*2 sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (28) Round 5: \*2 sc, sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (35), invisible bind off, leaving a 2 foot tail for sewing down. Knotty Trick: I tie my beginning tail and my ending tail together, it's not needed but I do it to lessen the chance of it unraveling. With White:(make 10) Round 1: Magic circle, ch 2, sc 6 inside loop, pull tight Round 2: 2 sc in each space around (14) Round 3: \*2 sc, sc Repeat from \* around (21) Round 4: \*2 sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (28) invisible bind off, leaving a 2 foot tail for sewing down. Ten of the black cookies get a number assigned 1-10, the other ten cookies get “dots" on them, 1-10 to correspond with the numbers. To make the dots, I used white and just made one “dot? just one stitch long, french knots will also work. \*\*Make sure you're doing the numbers/dots on the RS of the cookie\*\* Sew the cookies together, using the tail from one of the black cookies. Once the cookie is sewn up, tie the tail from the needle to the tail from the other cookie, pull it tight and tuck the knot between the white “cream?” and the black “chocolate".

Glass of Milk: Double Stranded, size I hook. Lid, with White: Round 1: Magic circle, ch 2, sc 6 inside loop, pull tight Round 2: 2 sc in each space around (14) Round 3: \*2 sc, sc Repeat from \* around (21) Round 4: \*2 sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (28) Round 5: \*2 sc, sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (35), Ch 10, sl st into next space (should be in the first increase created of this round), finish off and set aside. Knotty Trick: using a large eye'd yarn needle, work the ending tail back to the beginning tail and tie off, again, this helps prevent it from coming undone. With “glass" color: Round 1: Magic circle, ch 2, sc 6 inside loop, pulltight Round 2: 2 sc in each space around (14) Round 3: \*2 sc, sc Repeat from \* around (21) Round 4: \*2 sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (28) Round 5: \*2 sc, sc, sc, sc Repeat from \* around (35) Round 6: Sc in every space around, back loop only (35) Round 7: Sc in every space around (35), invisible bind off With White: Round 8: Create a slip not around hook, insert hook in stitch “created" by invisible bind off (the one you skipped) and sc into that space, sc around (35) Knotty Trick: Trim ends/tails at this step, because it's double stranded, it's quite stiff and it'll be difficult later. Rounds 9 - 25, sc in every space around (35), invisible bind off With “glass" color: Round 26: Create a slip not around hook, insert hook in stitch “created" by invisible bind off(the one you skipped) and sc into that space. With the lid RS facing up and lid “inside” glass, in 12h stitch from loop on lid, sc through lid and “glass", sc through both pieces over the next 7 stitches (loop should be on opposite side from hinge), sc in next 27 stitches of just the “glass". Knotty Trick: Tie the white tail to the gray tail after round 26, leaving another tail to sew the tail made after the finish off in the next row. Round 27: Sc in each space around (35) and invisible bind off Store cookies in “glass". There should be enough room to hold the cookies just tossed in there, no need to make them stacked to fit, little hands still need room to reach in and grab cookies. Enjoy! And don't get too hungry working these up!
