THE LAZY KNITTER'S COWL

This is a very quick and easy project! The eyelet pattern is just interesting enough to keep you from getting bored and at the same time simple enough, so that you don't have to count all the time! I made this using DK yarn from my stash leftovers, but I believe you can also use thicker yarns to do it! So, go ahead and surprise me!!! You can see a longer version, in my Strawberry Sunday Scarf, this one took 120 meters of Aran weight yarn!!!
You will need:
p3tog = purl 3 sts together yo = yarn over DK yarn of your choice Size US1O (6mm) needles (straight or circular) A couple of stitch markers
GLOSSARY:
k = knit p = purl INSTRUCTIONS: Cast on 29 sts. Rows 1-4: knit all sts Row 5: k2, PM, k25, PM, k2 Row 6: k2, p25, k2 @ Pattern Design and Photos by Maria Zilakou. You can use this pattern to make items for profit, as long as you don't forget to mention the name of the author!!!.

Row 7: k2, SM, \*k1, yo, p1, p3tog, p1, yo,\*(repeat from\* to\* 4 times) k1, SM, k2 Row 8: k2, p25, k2 Repeat rows 5-8 until you reach the desired length for your cowl. who knows? Maybe you have enough yarn for a whole scarf or maybe just enough for a nice neck warmer. Make sure you end with a row 5 and then knit another 4 rows of garter stitch. Bind off all your stitches and weave in the ends. That's it! Knit, wear and enjoy!!! Lazy chart

Thelia - The Knotty Neckwarmer (An easy scarf)

So let's go for it! You will need: YARN(Super Bulky) Austermann Country Tweed, 2 skeins, 120m NEEDLES 7,5mm STITCH MARKERS optional

You continue repeating rows 1-12 twice. You will now work the pattern repeats (between the asterisks\*\*) for 2 and eventually 3 times, ending with 26 sts on your needle. Now you will stop increasing (Mr) at the end of every other row, and continue repeating rows 1-12 for as long as you wish. when your scarf is as long as you like it to be, knit all sts for a couple of rows, so that you have a garter edge. Bind off without breaking the yarn and sew together the two corners of the edge (as if it were a sleeve) along 3-4 cm. This is where you insert the other part of the scarf, making it look like a tie. The following picture gives you an idea:

ELECTRA - A Lace Stole

ELECTRA by LANAS STOP is a luxurious, fancy yarn. It's a mohair/acrylic blend with a few pailletes here and there, the ideal choice for a knit that stands out in the crowd. I've decided to knit a lace stole, using a stitch pattern that's friendly even to the novice knitter, yet interesting enough to keep you going! You will need: 4-5 skeins of Electra (Lanas Stop) or any similar yarn of your choice Straight bamboo needles US11/ 8 mm INSTRUCTIONS CO 54 sts as loosely as possible. Row 1: p5, \*yo, skpo, p4 \*, rep from \*to\* to the final st, p1 Row 2: k5, \*yo, skpo, k4 \*, rep from \*to\* to the final st, k1 Keep repeating these 2 rows till your stole measures as long as you wish. Then loosely bind off all your sts.
LACE BLOCKING
I recommend wet blocking for this kind of project! It'll stretch the stole out and create an ethereal effect!
