NOTES

This snood-hat is universal accessory-transformer, will fit on your neck as snood or as hat on your head. Also perfect for those who like stick hair in a ponytail. This pattern is written for DK yarn. Work in rounds as one piece. Work begins from the bottom of main part and continue up. This technique allows cuff of hat be looser and hat will fit more comfortably.

HAT

Using yarn (A), ch104 join with sl st to form a ring. Make sure foundation ch is njt twist. Work in rounds as one piece Rnd1: ch3 to count as 1" dc, dc in each st around. Join with sl st. Rnd2: ch1 to count as 1st sc, sc in next st, ch2, skip next 2 sts, [sc into next 2 sts, ch2, skip next 2 sts] - repeat around. Join rnd with sl st. Continue repeat rounds 1 and 2 (1 motif) until reach total length of hat 22 (25.5) cm. Fasten off.

CUFF

Now work on the opposite side of foundation chain to make cuff. Yarn (B).
