RIPPLE RUNNER / BATHMAT

MATERIALS:
6 - 12 skeins Be Sweet T-Shirt (55 yards, 90% cotton, 5% viscose, 5% elastane) 9mmand10mmcrochethook
RUNNERINSTRUCTIONS:
Make 101 ch using the 10mm hook. Swap to the 9mm hook and add 2 chain stitches. Row l: miss first two ch (count as 1 tr); one tr into next ch \* 1 tr into each of next 3 ch. Over next 3 ch, tr 3 together. (More detailed explaination: make a treble in first stitch but don't slip off the last loop, so that you have two loops leff on the hook, repeat in the next stitch - now you'll have 3 loops on your hook, repeat again (4 loops). Loop yarn over hook and pull through all 4 loops. This forms the bottom of the zig. I tr into next 3 st; 3 tr in next stitch. This forms the top of the zag. Repeat from \*. End last repeat with 2 tr into the top of the turning chain st, turn. Row 2: 3 ch (counts as 1st tr). 1 tr into Ist st, \* 1 tr into each of next 3 st. Over next 3 st tr 3 together. 1 tr in each of next 3 st; 3 tr into next st, rep from \*, ending last repeat with 2 tr into top of turning chain st, turn. Row 3: Change color and continue as with row 2. Change color at the end of every 2 rows. Continue until you have 24 rows in 12 colors. End off and weave loose threads neatly into mat.
BATHMATINSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 51 stitches using the 1Omm hook. Follow runner instructions from Row 1. Crochet altogether 16 rows. If you change colors every second row, you will use 4 of your 6 colors twice. Alternatively you can change colors every row and use every color 3 times. HAPPY HOOKING!
