To fit 12" Barbie (the latest model) Materials: approx 25g double knit yarn Approx 25g eyelash yarn (or other fluffy yarn) Crochet hook no 4mm and 6mm (or size to match tension) (UK sizes) Tension: (Gauge) 20sts x 24 rows to 4" over dc (check your tension and use suitable size hook) Abbreviations: Dc: double crochet (US single crochet), tr: treble crochet, (US double crochet) ch: chain, sl st: slip stitch, inc: increase Note: Work through the back loop only for a softer fabric. Using no 6mm hook and eyelash yarn make 27 ch, dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc to end(26sts) Work 5 rows in dc (rows are easier to crochet than rounds in eyelash yarn) Change to no 4mm hook and double knit yarn and continue in rounds Work 2 rounds dc Shape waist Next round: dc 6, miss 1 dc, dc12, miss 1 dc,dc6, (24sts) Next round: dc 5, miss 1 dc, dc12, miss 1 dc,dc5, (22sts) Works 5 rounds in dc Next Round: dc 5, 2dc in next dc, dc 10, 2dc in next dc, dc to end (24sts) Work 4 rounds in dc Next round: dc 5, make 5 ch, miss 1 dc, dc 11, make 5ch, miss 1 dc, dc to endend Next round: dc 4, miss next dc, 1 dc in each of 5 ch, miss next dc, dc 4, miss next dc, dc 4. miss next dc, dc in each of 5 ch, miss next dc, dc to end of round.
