Wildfire Smoke Ring

Finished Measurements: 22 in. diameter and 12 in. long after blocking. Gauge: Gauge is not important Yarn: 200 yards of Sock by Malabrigo Yarn, Light Fingering / 3 ply, 100% Merino, 440 yards / 100 grams in Eggplant, 40 yards of Knit Picks Shadow Kettle Dyed, Lace / 2 ply, 100% merino, 440 yards / 50 grams in Clementine Needles: Size 4, 20 inch circular Notions: stitch markers, sewing needle

Directions:

With Clementine, CO 136 stitches using two needles together for a loose CO edge. Join in the round being careful not to twist stitches. Beginning with round 1, work 34 stitch repeat four times. Continue following chart through round 12. Round 13: Switch to Eggplant and decrease four stitches evenly around (K2tog at the beginning of each repeat.)

Round 14: Work the 33 stitch repeat four times. Continue following the chart through round 41. Repeat rounds 14-41 once more and then repeat 14- 28 once again. BO loosely. Finishing: Block lace work open and to measurements before sewing in ends.
