Note concerning recommended materials:
I prefer using Catania, but every other yarn can be used. Take care to use the right size of crochet hook. Using different yarn might result in a different size of the project. Please read the instructions of use for your safety eyes! Depending on which eyes you use it is necessary to fix the eyes before stuffing and finishing the body. For this case I mark the Position of Eyes (=PE) and recommend a time when they can be fixed easily: Time for Eyes (= TE).
Body and Head
Body and head of those animals round as a ball are made in one piece. All 4 big friends are to be worked with one basis pattern. Deviations from this basis pattern (main colour, changing colour, working in back loops only, and so on) are indicated for each animal individually.

Finishing:

Make a pompom from light pink: wind yarn around two of your fingers (25 to 30 times), take yarn of and tie another piece of yarn around the middle of loops, knot firmly. Cut loops and trim until pompom is fuzzy.
