Crochet ScarF Holder
By Pip Weber I like to re-use and recycle so, using my handy man and objects readily available, made this hanger.

The rings could perhaps be sourced from a hardware or craft store. In fact any circular object would work, but then on reflection any object, any shape, any material (as long as it was strong enough to hold its shape) would work as long as there was suffcient room to thread scarves through to get them on display and readily accessible. Metal coat hangers are suitable, these can be cut and joined so there are no sharp ends. Any yarn and hook suitable for that yarn will work. Happy creating and hanging!
materials
· 1 Ball cotton string, such as Donaghy's Cotton String (approx. equivalent to fingering/4 ply yarn) · 4mm crochet hook . 7 x 70mm rings · 4 x 120mm rings. (All the rings were made from No 8 wire - a Kiwi product used for repairing and fixing a multitude of mistakes - formed and joined.) · 1 metal coat hanger. (Used for the top hanger)
method
)te: All materials and directions are written using English terminology Using double crochet, work around each ring individually, covering the rings fairly densely. Weave in the ends. Arrange your rings to your liking, then join them together with double crochet. Use the top of a coat hanger and again cover with double crochet (not covering the top hook), on my model this had been shaped to fit around the top small circle. Join to the body to complete your hanger.
