MYTRAMPIRE GIRLFRIEND

by Rosa Fernandez aka The Drunken Homemaker

INTERMEDIATE
We've all drooled over some vampire or other. Unfortunately, most vampires are unlucky in love with their thirst for biood and not being able to go out in the sunlight...and all. More recently, the unfaithful girlfriend has become yet another hurdle that a lovestruck vampire must overcome. For this pattern, I've taken Kate Atherley's charts for My Vampire Boyfriend, which is knit from the cuff down, and flipped them. So whether you need warm hands or only knit toe-up, this pattern should help.
Size
For an adult woman.
Materials
Yarn: 716Knit 716s0ck [100% superwash merino wool; 400yds/365m per skein]; color: Playing in Some Serious Traffic; 1 skein Recommended Needle: 1 32-40 inch long US # 2/2.75mm circular needle for magic loop 2-at-a-time 4 US#2/2.75mm dpns
Gauge
34 sts/46 rounds = 4" in stockinette stitch
Pattern Notes
This pattern is knit in the round using magic loop, preferably 2-at-a-time. For the purposes of this pattern the stitches on the first needle will be referred to as N1, and the stitches on needle 2 will be referred to as N2. The cable pattern will be worked over the stitches on N1. Choosing yarn: You want to choose a semi-solid yarn that isn't too dark so that you can enjoy your cables. 716sock will give you the cable definition you want with these mitts, but 716twist is stretchier for cables. Due to an error in the charting software the key doesn't explain that an empty box symbolizes a knit stitch. Also, the p in the key should read p1. Sorry for any confusion.
ABBREVIATIONS
m1- make one. For this pattern I recommend making one by picking up the strand between stitches, twisting, then knitting into it. Here's a better explanation.
