Boulder is a generously sized cowl inspired by Veronica Parsons Denver Cowl. Cast on 180 stitches using cable cast on. Join without twisting (of course!) to work in the round. Place a stitch marker to keep track of rounds. Cartridge Rib (a multiple of 5 stitches and 2 rounds) Round 1: (K2, P3) to marker Round 2: K3, \*(P1, K4) repeat from \* to last 2 stitches, P1, K1. Repeat rounds 1 and 2 five more times (12 rounds total). Rounds 13 and 14: Knit.\* Yarn: Miss Babs Yowza· Worsted Weight · 560 yards · One Skein will make 1 large (180 c0) & 1 small (150 c0) cowl. Needles: Size 7 · 24" circulars (l knit loosely. You may need 8s to match my gauge. You will want it to drape a little.) Gauge: 16 stitches to 4 inches

K3tog, do not drop from left needle. YO, knit 3 together in same 3 stitches, then drop. There is no change in stitch count. It's like magic Round 1: knit to marker Round 2: knit to marker Round 3: (K3, CL) repeat to marker Round 4: knit to marker Round 5: knit to marker Round 6: (CL, K3) repeat to marker

Repeat all 6 rounds 4 more times (30 rounds of body total). Rounds 45 and 46: Knit.\* Cartridge Rib repeat the first 12 rounds again.

Bind off loosely. Consider going up a needle size for the bind off if you knit tightly. Finishing: I found no need to block the Yowza when I finished. I just wove in the two ends and was out the door!
\*You may adjust the pattern by decreasing or increasing the stich counts by a factor of 5 for the rib or 6 for body. You can either adjust the stitch count with spaced increases or decreases on the plain knit rounds as you change sections, or you can start with an initial cast on that's a multiple of 30.
If you cast on a multiple of 5 that doesn't divide evenly by 6, make your adjustments (increases or decreases) evenly on these rounds.
