Ffor Friendly Twins

I prefer Catania from Schachenmayr (1o0 % 4-ply cotton), but you can use every other yarn you like with a hook in matching size. Note: using different yarn will probably change the size of the finished doll.

Working with medium blue, insert hook from top (medium blue) to bottom (grun / rot)

Body and Head
Go on working with medium blue, changing to light green / light blue / creme when indicated.

Edge of sleeves
Working in front loops of R 7, inserting hook from sleeve to hand , joinwithsl: sc in each st around, sl in first st, fasten off. Sew arms to body.

Hair
t 48 pieces of brown yarn for the boy and of yellow yarn for the girl, using a playing card.


Take 2 strands of yarn and fold in the middle, draw them through a st, inserting hook from top of head to face, using open loops of R 26, take loose ends and pull them through loop. fasten off.
Insert a thread in inner loops of R 13, put hat on head and adjust size by pulling the thread. Sew hat to head. Now, you can cut hair into desired length.
Sunflower

Lady Bug
Starting with red, changing to black when indicated.

Finishing:
Sew sunflower and lady bug to hats. If you like it, you can embroider a heart or flower on the flap or sweater. I used a loop stitch for doing this (see picture).
