About copyright: you can do whatever you like with the pattern, it is really nice when people like what I have designed, but please it would be nice to reference where you found it! If there is anything you do not understand or there are any mistakes, please, send me a message! I write the patterns as a way of remembering what I have done. They haven't been tested (only by myself!). As you can see in the way I write, English is not my first language. So, you could come across some mistakes and grammatical inconsistencies@. Sorry and my apologies!
ABOUTYARN:
Any yarn would do nicely. I've used Crystal Palace cotton chenille: 1 turquoise (TU) 1 black (BL) 1 beige (BE)
ABOUTGAUGE:
It is not important, as far as you are consistent with your tension. ABOUTHOOK: It depends on the yarn. I've used a 4 mm hook, so the stitches were tight as required in amigurumi. YOU WILL NEED: Yarn for the bear. Two black eyes. One nose Stuffing. Tapestry needle.
ABOUTCROCHETTERMS:
I've followed the US terminology. Stitch: st Chain: ch Slip stitch: sl st Single crochet: sC Half double crochet: hdc Double crochet: dc Treble crochet: tr Double treble crochet: dtr
ABOUT THEPATTERN:
All the pattern is worked in spirals, so do not join at the end/beginning of a row.
Ears (2)
Using BE color: Round 1: magic ring, 6 sc (alternatively, 2 ch and 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook). Round 2: 2sc in each st (12 sts) Round 3: [2sc in next stitch, 1sc in next st.] repeat 6 times (18 sts) Round 4-6: sc in each st across (18 sts) Round 7: [sc2tog, sc in next 7sc] repeat 2 times. (16 st) Fastenoff (ears can be attached as the head is crocheted or at the end).
Arms (two)
UsingBE color: Round 1: magic ring, 6 sc (alternatively, 2 ch and 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook). Round 2: 2sc in each st (12 sts) Round 3: [2sc in next stitch, 1sc in next st.] repeat 6 times (18 sts) Round 4: [2sc in next stitch, 1sc in next 2st.] repeat 6 times (24 sts) Round 5-7: sc in each st across (24 sts) Round 8: [sc2tog, sc in next 2sc] repeat 6 times. (18 st) Round 9-11: sc in each st across (18 sts) Round 12: change to BL. sc in each st across (18 sts) Round 13: change to TU. sc in each st across (18 sts) Round 14-27: repeat rounds 12 and 13: we are working 18 sc in each row but changing colors at the end of each row. Round 28: change to BL. sc in each st across (18 sts) Fasten off

It is better to stuff the arms as you go.
Head
It is worked in one piece from muzzle to the back. Using BE color: Round 1: magic ring, 6 sc (alternatively, 2 ch and 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook). Round 2: 2sc in each st (12st) Round 3: sc in each st across (12st) Round 4: [2sc in next stitch, 1sc in next st.] repeat 6 times (18 sts) Round 5: [2sc in next stitch, 1sc in next 2st.] repeat 6 times (24 sts) Round 6-9: sc in each st across (24 sts) (MUZZLE done) Round 10: 2sc in each st (48st) Round 11: [2sc in next stitch, sc in next 7st.] repeat 6 times (54 sts) Round 12: [2sc in next stitch, sc in next 8st.] repeat 6 times (60 sts) Round 13: neck hole is done at this stage. Chain 15st, skip 15 sc, sc in next 45 st. (15 ch+45st=60st) Round 14: work 15sc in the 15 chain space, sc in next 9st. Now first ear is attached: sc in next 8st working through the ear and the head at the same time, 1sc in next 11st, Second ear is attached: sc in next 8st working through the ear and the head at the same time, 1sc in next 9st. Round 15-16: sc in each st across (60st). Round 17: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 8st.] repeat 6 times (54 sts) Round 18: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 7st.] repeat 6 times (48 sts) Round 19: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 6st.] repeat 6 times (42 sts) (lt would be a good idea to begin stuffing the head and the muzzle. Eyes and nose can be attached and mouth embroidered) Round 20: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 5st.] repeat 6 times (36 sts) Round 21: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 4st.] repeat 6 times (30 sts) Round 22: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 3st.] repeat 6 times (24 sts) Round 23: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 2st.] repeat 6 times (18 sts) Round 24: [sc2tog in next stitch, sc in next 1st.] repeat 6 times (12 sts) (More stuffing) Round 25: [sc2tog in next stitch] repeat 6 times (6 sts) Fasten off and use the tail to sew the remaining gap.
Legs (two)
It is better to stuff the legs as you go. The feet have an oval shape. Feel free to do a classic circular shape if you like! The first 4 rounds aren't worked in spiral, we join with sl st. From round 5 onwards, the rounds are not joined: spiral. Using BL, ch 5 Round 1: 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in next 2st, 3sc in next st, (now we are turning to the other side of the base chain), 1sc in next 2st, 1sc in the beginning chain, Join rnd with sl st to top of first ch. Round 2: 1ch, 2sc in the 1st sc of the 1st round, 2sc in next st, 1sc in next 2st, 2sc in next 3st (oval shape), 1sc in next 2st, 2sc in last st, join rnd with sl st to top of first ch. Round 3: 1ch, [2sc in next st, 1sc in next st] repeat 2 times, 1sc in next 2st, [2sc in next st, 1sc in next st] repeat 3 times, 1sc in next 2st, 2sc in next st, 1sc in next st, join rnd with sl st to top of first ch. Round 4: 1ch, [2sc in next st, 1sc in next 2st] repeat 2 times, 1sc in next 2st, [2sc in next st, 1sc in next 2st] repeat 3 times, 1sc in next 2st, 2sc in next st, 1sc in next 2st, join rnd with sl st to top of first ch. (28st) Round 6: (shaping begins) 1sc in next 10st, [sc2tog] repeat 4 times, 1sc in next 10sts (24sts) Round 7: 1sc in next 9st, [sc2tog] repeat 3 times, 1sc in next 9sts (22sts) Round 8-9: sc in each st across (22st) Round 10: change color to TU. Working on back loop only (BLO), 1sc in each st across (22 sts). Round 11-17: 1sc in each st across (22 sts).

Round 5: working on back loop only (BLO), 1sc in each st across (28 sts) Round 6: 1sc in each st across (28 sts)

Body
The body is worked from bottom to the neck. The first row, the legs are attached. As the feet are oval shape we have to place them in the right way!

(at the end of round 1, we will have 48 st=22+22+4) Round 1: Using TU, work 2ch, sc in next 22 st of one leg (remember to join in the right place), work 1sc in each of the 2 beginning chains, sc in next 22st of the other leg, work 1sc in each of the 2 beginning chains (opposite side). Round 2-6: sc in each st across (48st) Round 7: [sc2tog, 1sc in next 10st] repeat 4 times (44st)) Round 8-11: sc in each st across (44st)) Round 12: from here onwards, we will be changing from TU to BL every round. To 'camouflage' the changes of colour, we are going to sc in TU until one of the sides (this is not really important, if you want, you can avoid it!). So, sc in TU until one of the sides, change to BL and work one row as normal: 1sc in each st across (44st). Round 13: change to TU, sc in each st across (44sts). Round 14: change to BL, sc in each st across (44sts). Round 15: change to TU, [sc2tog, 1sc in next 19] repeat 2 times (42st) Round 16: change to BL, sc in each st across (42sts). Round 17: change to TU, [sc2tog, 1sc in next 18] repeat 2 times (40st) Round 18: change to BL, sc in each st across (40sts). Round 19: change to TU, [sc2tog, 1sc in next 8] repeat 4 times (36st) Round 20: change to BL, sc in each st across (36sts). Round 21: change to TU, [sc2tog, 1sc in next 7] repeat 4 times (32st) Round 22: change to BL, sc in each st across (32sts). Round 23: change to TU, sc in each st across (32sts). Round 24: change to BL, sc in each st across (32sts). Round 25: change to TU, [sc2tog, sc in each next 14st] repeat 2 times (30sts). Round 26: change to BL, sc in each st across (30sts). Round 27: change to TU, sc in each st across (30sts). Round 28: change to BL. Sc in each st across (30sts), but if you like you can crochet at the same time the arms. You can also sew them once the bear is finished. 1 like to attach them at the same time the row is worked because this way there are few endstoweave. Round 29: change to TU, [sc2tog, 1sc in each 3stJrepeat 6 times (24st) Round 30: change to BL, [sc2tog, 1sc in each 2st]repeat 6 times (18st) Round 31: change to TU, sc in each st across(18st) Round 32: change to BE, sc in each st across(18st) Round 33: [2sc in next st, 2sc in next st]repeat 6 times (24st) Round 34: [2sc in next st, 3sc in next st]repeat 6 times (30st) Fasten off, leaving a tail to attach body to head. Stuff body and attach to head.
Scarf
This is optional. Using BL, Work 40ch, Round 1: sc in second chain from hook and in each st across, turn Round 2: 1ch, sc in each st across. Round 3, change to TU, sc in each st across (we are going all the way round). If you like in the 2 short sides, you can add some fringe. The bear is finished!
