Let's begin.
Garter Cast On (video tutorial https:/ /www.youtube.com/watch?v=2129s_2QMII) Cast on 3 st and knit 6 rows. This should give you 3 ridges which you'll work into next. Turn your work 9o degrees clockwise and pick up one stitch in each of the garter ridges that you created. Insert your working needle in the edge of the garter ridge and knit into the stitch. Turn your work again 9o degrees clockwise and pick up three stitches along the edge. You should now have 9 stitches.
