Put 33 (34, 36) stitches on stitch holder (right sleeve). Remove marker. Cast on 8 (10, 12) stitches. Knit to end.

Back and fronts

Continue to work back and fronts in stocking stitch until work measures $9\%$ ${\sqrt[{10}]{/2}},$ 111/2) inches from cast on edge. Switch to smaller needles. 1st row of rib: $\mathsf{K}2,\,^{\ast}\mathsf{p}2,\,\mathsf{k}2;$ rep from \* 2nd row of rib: P2, $^{\star}\mathsf{k}2,$ p2; rep from \*. Repeat 1st and 2nd rows 4 more times. Bind off.

Knit to end. 41 (44, 48) stitches on needle. Work in st st, decreasing every 4th (5th, 5th) row\*. When sleeve measures $6\left(7\%,\,10\%\right)$ inches from underarm, switch to smaller needles. Work in $\mathsf{K}2,$ P2 rib for 10 rows. Bind off. \*Sleeve Decrease is worked as follows: (right side) K2, k2 tog, k until 4 stitches remain on left needle, ssk, $k2$ (wrong side) p2, p2 tog, p until 4 stitches remain on left needle, p2 tog-b, ${\mathsf{p}}2$

Hood

Mark center at back neck edge with a safety pin. With right side facing, pick up 24 (26, 26) stitches evenly across right front, sleeve, and right side of back to the safety pin. Place marker. Pick up another 24 (26, 26) stitches evenly across left half of back, left sleeve and front. Knit 3 rows. Begin shaping as follows. Row 1: Purl. Row 2 (incr row): Knit until 1 stitch before marker. Kfb. Slip marker. Kfb Knit to end. Continue in st st, with an incr row every 4th row, until 58 (62, 62) stitches on needle. With a third, smaller, needle, knit through first 2 stitches on both needles. Pass first stitch over second on right needle. Continue until one stitch remains on right needle. Break yarn, pass through last stitch.
