Repeat Row 2 until you've reached a total of 24 rows or until piece measures $20^{\prime\prime}$ or desired size for your blanket. End with a final row of all SC to match beginning Row 1. Finishing After completing last row turn blanket to crochet border along the edge. Row 1: Ch1, SC in same space, evenly SC along all four sides of the blanket. Fasten off.
Optional Tassels
To add tassels to the four corners of the blanket, locate a piece of cardboard about the desired length of the tassels you'd like to make. I used a $4^{\prime\prime}$ piece of cardboard. Begin by holding the yarn at the end of the cardboard and wrap around 15 to 20 times.

On one end of the cardboard take a separate piece of yarn (long enough to attach tassel to the blanket) and feed the piece of yarn all the way through the top loops - secure by knotting.

On the opposite end, carefully cut the ends of yarn evenly and remove the cardboard. Wrap a separate piece of yarn (horizontally) an inch or so down from the top around all pieces of yarn to create the tassel. Trim ends until even. Use long pieces of yarn at the top of the tassel to attach to the blanket.

Repeat and make 3 more tassels. Use long piece of yarn at the top of the tassel to attach to the corners of the blanket and weave in ends. Give to your pet and watch them enjoy! $\circledast$
