· 2 Hanks Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Sport Multis (1.75oz/50g ea approx. 136yds/125m, 100% superwash merino wool) in #108 Checkers (MC) · 1 Hank Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Sport (1.75oz/50g ea approx. 136yds/125m, 100% superwash merino wool) in #871 White (CC) · Size US 6 (4mm) 16" Circular Knitting Needle · Spare Size US 6 Knitting Needle · Tapestry Needle · 9.5" wide x 12" high
Gauge:
· 20.5 sts and 30 rows/4" in stockinette st (gauge is not important for this pattern)

\*\*\*NOTE\*\*\* Bag is worked from the top down with uupiuluie siucnung uune vejure J-neeuie vinu ujy. · With MC, CO 100 sts. · Work garter stitch in the round (knit a row, purl a row) for 10 rounds. · Knit 12 rounds. · Next Round (eyelet round): [k8, double yo, k2tog] to end of round. · Next Round: Knit across round, letting each second yo drop off as you go - 100 sts. · Knit until work measures 12” from CO edge. Do not bind off. · With RS facing and with garter opening at the top, using CC and tapestry needle, begin duplicate stitching square and letter motif, being sure to center on one side of bag. \*\*\*NOTE\*\*\* Duplicate stitching through the bottom opening is significantly easier than trying to do it through the top opening.
