· Most components are worked in the round. Do not join rounds unless told to. ● Total stitches worked in the round or row are given in parentheses. Turning chains on rows are not counted in this total. ● If you choose to add stripes with a fabric marker, get one that does NOT need heat to set the ink. · Finished size: approximately 6" tall when standing.
Tips for a fluffy kitty
· To achieve the fluffy look of the model image, firmly brush each component with a slicker brush (found in pet stores) before sewing the pieces together, then touch up seams. · Brush the front of the head BEFORE inserting eyes to avoid scratching the plastic and to get an ever density of fluff. · Use small pieces of yarn as stitch markers on the head that can be pulled to the inside during brushing. · Pull yarn tails to inside before brushing. ● Brush as much as you can before stuffing the piece to avoid pulling stuffing through holes in the surface. · After assembly, trim fur as needed for extra shaping.

Finishing:
· Sew ears to head. Fold the ear along the middle (dotted orange line) to form a 90° angle. Align corners of ears with purple notches. The bases of the ears should be approximately parallel on top of the head and the corners even with the inner edge of the eyes. The opposite corners should be at about the same height as the bottom of the eyes. · Sew components to body using yarn tails. The legs should cup around the body. ● Hide yarn tails and brush seam areas to hide stitches. · Embroider nose and mouth. · Draw stripes with fabric marker.
