Materials

Yarn: Simply Soft; two skeins of main color (MC) (Chocolate); one skein of each of three alternate colors (A1, A2, A3) (Watermelon; Blue Mint; Grape) Needle: size 8 circular Rectangular panel (make 2) Finished Size: approximately 14inches by 27 inches; for children or a petite adult

Directions

Cast on 109 stitches Work six rows of knit in the main color before starting pattern. Work color striping in the following pattern: MC, A1, MC, A2, MC, A3, MC, A1, MC, A2, MC,A3 Striping Pattern: Rows 1-4: Knit Row 5: \*K2tog, YO\*, K1 Row 6-8\*: knit \*Carry your main color up the side to reduce extra strings. Alternate colors can either be carried up as well or cut and started fresh for each use. Knit six rows in MC. Bind off and tuck in ends.

Finishing

Sew the short side of one of the rectangles to the long side of the second rectangle, with edges even. Turn piece, fold for shoulders and repeat sewing opposite short end to long side to make a "V", creating an opening at the center for the neck and head.
