Oragon Tal Sanf

Dragon Tail Scarf is quick and quite easy to knit and can be knit in any yarn and in any length you want it to be. Both sides look almost the same and the only purled stitches are the second yarn overs of double yarn overs. This scarf is worked following a charted pattern. Lace patterns of this scarf are inspired by Bamboo Lace pattern htp://www.knittingand.com/knitting/patterns/lace/bamboo.htm). Instructions Size shown: length 59 inches / $150\;\mathrm{cm}$ (18 repeats of Lace chart 2), width 11.5 inches / $29\;\mathrm{cm}$ (the widest point) Gauge: isn't critical, the red scarf pictured has 15 stitches per 4 inches / 10 cm Yarn weight: anything goes, but something soft worsted, aran or bulky weight yarn gives scarf more appearance, I used one skein of Zettl Sportimo ( $100\,\%$ acrylic; $100\;\mathrm{g}=\,329$ yards $/\,300\;\mathrm{m})$ Yardage: circa 329 yards / $300\;\mathrm{m}$ (Lace chart $1+18$ repeats of Lace chart 2 + Lace chart 3) Needles: US 8 / 5 mm or suitable for your yarn choice, but note that bigger needle size increases the yardage Note! Charts are read from bottom to top, right to left and only uneven rows are shown. Knit all stitches on even rows, except the second yarn over of double yarn overs, which is purled. Good instructions on a double yarn over you can find e.g. at Holmes 3 http:/holmes3.blogspot.com/2006/06/double-yarn-over.html.
