Size
kids (3-7 years)- cap measured flat is 21cm, depth of the hat 20 cm adult - cap measured flat is 25,5 cm, depth of the hat 22,5 cm
Yarn
Lima Drops (65% wool, 35% alpaca) w 50g/90m. To make caps need approx. 70g / 120m yarn for hats for children. For an adult version of approx. 85g / 150m. It can be any other yarn with similar parameters.
Needle size
US 4 - 3,5mm circular needles.

circular needles, tapestry needle, 1 marker, scissors, cable needle, pompon of fur (optional)
Abbreviations
st - stitch/stitches, p - purl, k - knit, k2togP - knit 2 together to the leff, k2togK - knit 2 together to the right, k2tog - knit 2 together, k3togP - knit 3 together to the left
Stitches
Rib on the round: \*2p, 2k, 2p\* - repeat around
Cable:
3 stitches crossed on right - slip the next 2 stitches into cable needle and hold behind work. Knit the next stitch from the left-hand needle, then purl 2 stitches from the cable needle. 3 stitches crossed on leff - slip the next stitch into cable needle and hold in front of work. Purl the next 2 stitches from the left-hand needle, then knit stitch from the cable needle.

Directions:
Rib
Using 3,5mm needle, cast on 108st. (120st.). Number of stitches must be divisible by 6. Join in the round without twisting. Place marker, that will be informed about the start of the lap. Work rib according to the instructions if then measure 2cm.
Hat

Repeat diagram (row 1-12) 4,5 times (5,5 times) or the way you like. The amount of the repeated pattern will affect the depth of the cap.
Crown shaping

Finished
