Crocheted Pebbled Cowl by Rose Stitely Designs

Abbreviations: ch = chain sC = single crochet tr = treble/triple crochet RS = right side WS = wrong side Sport weight yarn: Cleckheaton 5 Ply Sport, Color 1521 - 2+ skeins Hook size: F (I crochet very loosely. You may want to adjust your hook size accordingly). Gauge: Gauge is not really important. Any weight yarn may be used. Match the hook size to your yarn of choice. Pattern: Chain any even number of stitches. I chained 40 stitches. Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in each ch across. (39 sc's). Ch 1, turn. Row 2 (WS): \*Sc in first st, tr in next st\*, repeat across row, ending with a sc. Ch1, turn. Repeat these 2 rows until the cowl is the desired length. I used just a little more than 2 skeins of this yarn. My cowl measures 9" by 24". End off. Block if desired. Sew the short ends of the cowl together using a whip stitch. Weave in ends. Enjoy!
