About copyright: It's really something great when people like what I have designed. You can sell the final item or whatever you like, but it would be nice to reference where you found the pattern! If there is anything you do not understand or there are any mistakes, please, send me a message! As you can see in the way I write, English is not my first language. So, you could come across some mistakes and grammatical inconsistencies@. Sorry and my apologies! After finishing the multi dot ladybug I had some white and red scraps, so I crocheted this cute monster. I've named it Sporty because ... Although I lived in Valladolid, I grew up in Gijon, the football team is called Sporting, so playing with the name ... Sporty was born!

ABOUT YARN:

Any yarn would do nicely. I've used a yarn from Katia (Spanish manufacturer): Canada (100gr.=75m.) in two different shades: white and red

ABOUTGAUGE:

It is not important, as far as you are consistent with your tension.

ABOUT HOOK:

It depends on the yarn. I've used a 6 mm hook. Remember that when making amigurumis, stitches should be tight.

YOU WILL NEED:

Yarn in two different colors: red and white. One black eyes. Stuffing. Tapestry needle.

ABOUTCROCHETTERMS:

I've followed the US terminology. Stitch: st Chain: ch Slip stitch: sl st Single crochet: sc Sc2tog: decreasing two sc (i.e., 2 st become 1) All the pattern is worked in spirals, so do not join at the end/beginning of a row. All the decreases are worked as invisible decreases. EYE Using red Ch 6, close circle. 12 sc in circle, fasten off.

Arm or leg (make 2)

Round 1: magic ring, 6 sc (alternatively, 2 ch and 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook). Round 2: change to white, sc in each st across (6sts) Round 3: [sc2tog] repeat 3 times (3 st) Round 4: ch 16 and sl st in 2nd ch from hook and remaining sts until reaching the hand/foot. Fasten off, weave ends.
