FLOWER
Using H Hook and FLOWER COLOR, ch 4 and join to make a circle. (Sc in the center and ch 3) 7 times, sl st to first sc and finish off. The flower can be sewn on as a decoration. I also added a pink button for the center of the flower.
FINISHING
Loop (Velcro) Closure: I hand sewed small pieces to use as a strap closure Elastic: Sewing a small piece of elastic between the strap and the shoe may also work well as a closure but I have not tried this yet. Anti-Skid Gripper Fabric: This is similar to what is found on baby jammie footies and helps make these slippers less slippery on smooth surfaces.
