Back:
Cast on 138 stitches with 3 mm needles. Knit 3 rows garter stitch and continue from the first row of the lace pattern. After one repeat (24 rows) of lace pattern change to $3.5\;\mathrm{mm}$ needles. Repeat 24 rows of the lace pattern 4 times and knit then 6 rows of the fifth repeat. At the beginning of the rows 7 and 8 of the 5th repeat cast off 2 stitches from both edges and at the same time change the first and last 7 stitches of every row to garter stitch and knit always the 8th stitch from the edge on the right side and purl it On the wrong side. On the row 11 of the $7^{\mathrm{th}}$ repeat bind off 36 center stitches for the neck and then on every other row at neck edge 3, 2, 1 sts. Knit 3 rows garter stitch and continue from the first row of the lace pattern. After one repeat (24 rows) of lace pattern change to $3.5\;\mathrm{mm}$ needles. Repeat 24 rows of the lace pattern 2 times and knit then 12 rows of the third repeat. At the beginning of the rows 13 and 14 of the 3rd repeat cast off 2 stitches from both edges and at the same time change the first and last 7 stitches of every row to garter stitch and knit always the 8th stitch from the edge on the right side and purl it on the wrong side. On the row 11 of the 5th repeat bind off 33 center stitches for the neck and then on every other row at the neck edge 3, 2, 1 sts. After row 22 set remaining 37 stitches aside and knit the other side in thesameway.
Front:
Same as back, but start shaping neck on the row 1 of the $5^{\mathrm{th}}$ repeat and bind off 21 center stitches and then on the every other row at the neck edge 4, 3, 2, $3\mathrm{~x~}1$ sts. After row 22 set remaining 43 stitches aside and knit the other side in the same way.
Finishing:
Join back and front shoulder stitches using three-needle bind-off or kitchener stitch. Crochet single crochet round all over the neck hole. Steam iron or block pieces and sew side seams.
