FINISHING:
Sew shoulder seams. Sew sleeves to body, making sure that centre of sleeve lies 2 rows nearer the front than the shoulder seam. Sew sleeve and body side seams. Sew back hood seam. Sew hood in at neck, easing to fit. Weave in ends. I always sew seams on the right side and use mattress stitch - here is a good set of instructions: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring04/mattress.html and there are plenty of demos onYou Tube. As this is an outer garment and in chunky, I also just ran another looser row of mattress stitch up along the inside seam too for neatness and extra strength.
