Materials:
Crochet hook G (4.00) I use vannahs choice or red heart super saver Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
Sc- single crochet FLO- front loop only St- stitch hdc3tog- half double crochet decrease with 3 sts Slst- slip stitch (ch 2 does NOT count as a stitch) NOTE\* when I say join I mean slst
Case:
Ch 10, Row 1: sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each st across, turn (9) Row 2-13:, ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (9) Row 14-16: ch 1, sc in the next 3 sts, turn (3) fasten off after row 16 Skip 3 sts on row 13 and join yarn Row 14-16: ch 1, sc in the next 3 sts, turn (3) Row 17: ch 1, sc in the next 3 sts, ch 3, sc in the next 3 sts Rnd 1: ch 1, FLO IN ALL THE STS 16 sc down the first side, 9 sc down the bottom, 16 sc up the other side, sc in the 3 sts, sc in each chain, sc in the last 3 sts at the top. Join to the first sc. (52) Rnd 2: ch 2, FLO IN ALL THE STS , hdc in the nect 18 sts, ch 3 and skip 3 sts. Hdc in each st around, join to first hdc. (49+3 chains) Rnd 3: ch 1, 14 slst in FL0 down the side , hdc3tog, 6 slst on the bottom, hdc3tog, 14 sl up the other side, hdc3tog, 6 slst on the top. (at this point yes you will pass the st where you started, that's ok don't panic). Hdc3tog, slst in the next st and finish off. And hide all tails.
