Pattern Notes:

Directions:
Foundation Round 1: Fsc 76, being careful not to twist your work, join with a ss to base of the first fsc to form a loop, then ss through both loops of the first fsc; do NOT turn your work. (Note: ch 1 does not count as as the first stitch here and throughout.) [Alternate Foundation Round:lICh 77, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across to end; join with a ss to first sc to form a loop. (76 sc)] Round 2: Ch 3 (this counts as the first st of the round), then crossing back over to the last st of the previous round, complete a dc through both loops (first xdc made). \*Skip one st, dc in next st, dc in skipped stitch (second xdc completed). Repeat from \* around, join with a ss to the top of first xdc of the round. (38 xdc sets made) Round 3: Ch 3 (this counts as the first st of the round), then crossing back over to the last st of the previous round, complete a dc (first xdc made). \*Skip one st, dc in next st, dc in skipped stitch (second xdc completed).
