These booties are designed to fit the Bitty Baby dolly. Size 5 needle. Gauge is 5 stitches to the inch in garter stitch pattern. The yarn is worsted weight. I used Lion Brand Woolease. m1= place backward loop onto right hand needle. Bootie Cuff : Cast on 22 stitches. Knit 1, Purl 1 across row. Repeat this row until you have 2 12 “. Bootie Foot: Row 1: K 10, m1, k2, m1, k 10. 24 stitches Even rows 2-8: Knit Row 3: K 11, m1, k2, m1, k11. 26 stitches Row 5: K 12, m1, k2, m1, k12. 28 stitches Row 7: K 13, m1, k2, m1, k13. 30 stitches Row 8: Knit. Rows 9 and 10: Knit. Decrease rows: Row 11: Knit 12, k2 tog, k2, k2 tog, k 12. 28 stitches Even rows 12-16: Knit. Row 13: K 11, k2 tog, k2, k2tog, k11. 26 stitches Row 15: K 10, k2t0g, k2, k2tog, k10. 24 stitches Slip 12 stitches onto a separate needle. Place needles with stitches side by side for 3-needle bind-off of the bootie bottom. Sew back seam. Work in ends.
