This scarf was designed to be a light-weight cabled scarf, when it's not below freezing, but you still want to sport your cables!

US 7 straights Cable needle Worsted weight yarn - yardage depends on length; Scarf pictured used one skein of Caron Simply Soft
Instructions
Cast on 26 st. Row 1: \*K1, P1 repeat from \* across row Row 2: \*P1, K1 repeat from \* across row Row 3: Repeat Row 1 Row 4: Repeat Row 2 Start pattern:

Repeat rows 1-8 until scarf is the length you choose, ending on a Row 6. Then, repeat the first four rows of seed stitches. Bind off in pattern (K1, P1), weave in ends.
Scarf pictured is 50 repeats of pattern using Caron Simply Soft. Abbreviation Explanations K1tbl - Knit 1 through the back loop. When knitting this st, instead of putting the needle through the front of the loop, put it through the back. 3/3 LC - This is a 6 st left cross cable - when knitting this, slip 3 sts to the cable needle, hold in front.
