Crochet Pattern
Materials: Yarn: Bulky (5), I used 3 skeins(405yds) of Lion Brand Jiffy in Dark Gray Heather Hook size(s): “K"(6.5mm) Size: 12" x 30" around.(15" across) Gauge: 12 stitches and 4 rows in = 4" x 4" Abbreviations: sl st - slip stitch Ip/lps - loop/s sc - single crochet dc - double crochet st or sts - stitch or stitches ch- chain stitch rnd(s) - round(s) sp-space beg - beginning
CL - YO, insert hook in specified st, draw up a Ip, YO and draw through 2 Ips on hook; YO, insert hook into same st and draw up a Ip, YO and draw through 2 Ips on hook; YO and draw through all 3 Ips on hook: CL made. Ch 3 counts as dc throughout the pattern. ch 90, sl st into 1st ch to form a circle. Make sure your ch isn't twisted. ( you can make this longer by increasing the ch in 3's. Ex. 93, 96, 99, 102, etc. Every 3 will increase the length by about 1") Round 1 - ch1, sc in ea ch around, sl st to 1st sc to join. (90 sc) Round 2 - ch3, \*sk next sc, CL in next sc, working behind CL just made; CL in sk sc, dc in next sc\*, repeat from \* to\*, ending with a crossed Cl, sl st in top of ch3. Repeat Round 1 & 2 until it measures 12", ending with round 1.
