Mane Cut dark brown yarn into short pieces (about 6 cm, anything shorter will be difficult to handle) and attach two rows of fringes to head along rows 6 and 7.
Ears With light brown yarn 5 ch, fold in half and sew to head just in front of mane (see
photo). Finishing head Stitch face with dark yarn (see photo). Sew head to body at a slight angle.
Legs Thread two pieces of yarn through bead, twist tightly to form a cord with the bead on the end of the cord; fasten end.
Make 4 of the same length; sew to body. Tail Thread two pieces of yarn through backside of lion (slightly above middle), twist
and form a cord. Fasten and cut, leaving a short tassel. Hanging up Add the thread to the back of the animal so the body is horizontal when hanging from it. NOTE! These animals have the right shape only when hanging from a thread, therefore take care to add the thread at the right place! |
