Materials:
- US Size F crochet hook - Heavy Fingering Weight or Sport Weight Yarn -Stuffing -Catnip (optional) Abbreviations: Sc = Single Crochet Inc = Increase or work 2 sc into the same stitch Dec = Decreas or work two stitches together FO = Fasten off (be sure to weave in your ends!) Directions: Working in rounds, make 6 sc into a magic ring. Rnd 1) Sc in each stitch around - 6 Rnd 2) [Inc, Sc] three times - 9 Rnd 3) Sc in each stitch around - 9 Rnd 4) [Inc, Sc 2] three times - 12 Rnd 5) Sc in each stitch around - 12 Rnd 6) [Inc twice, Sc 4] two times - 16 Rnd 7) Sc 7, chain 5, Sc 6, chain 5, Sc 3 - 16 sc with 2 chain-5 loops Rnd 8) Sc in each sc working around the chain-5 loops - 16 Rnd 9 to 13) Sc in each stitch around Rnd 14) Sc 2, Dec twice, Sc 4, Dec twice, Sc 2 - 12 Rnd 15) Sc in each stitch around and begin stuffing the fish - 12 Rnd 16) Sc, Dec twice, Sc 2, Dec twice, Sc - 8 Sc three times and then flatten the opening with a stitch on each end. Working thru both thicknesses, sc three times - 3 sc with an unworked stitch on each end. Turn your fish and things will be worked in rows now. Row 1) Chain 1, Inc, Sc, Inc and turn - 5 Row 2) Chain, Inc, Sc, Inc, Sc, Inc and turn - 8 Row 3) Chain, Inc, Sc 6, Inc and FO - 10
