Beginner's Pattern Chunky Mobile Phone Case
Use any yarn you like for this pattern. Make sure the needles you choose are the right size for the yarn. Cast On around 15-20 stitches. Stretch them out along your needle, they should be a little less than twice the width of your phone. Your number of stitches: Row 1 Knit every stitch. Row 2 Knit. Row 3 Knit. Row 4 Knit. I At the end of each I row, check that you I have the same I mumber of stitches. This makes a garter stitch border for the bottom of the case. The main section is worked in stocking stitch. Row 5 Knit every stitch. Row 6 Purl every stitch. I Ifthe V-shape side is facing yow, the next row iz 'Knit. Ifthe bumpy side is facing I you, the next row iz 'Purl. Continue to work these two rows until the knitting measures 1-2cm less than the height of your phone. End with Right Side (V-shapes) facing for next row. Next Row Knit. Next Row Knit. Cast Off all stitches. Cut the yarn leaving a 30cm tail. Pull the tail through the last stitch and pull tight. Fold the case in half and use the tail to sew down the sides and across the bottom of the case.
