Crochet Hamster

You will need:
2 15mm eyes for large Hamster, use 8mm beads, eyes or embroidery thread for small Hamster. 1 15mm nose for large Hamster, use 8mm nose or embroidery thread for nose on small Hamster. If you are making this for a child, I suggest using Embroidery Thread for the small and large Hamster. Any Worsted Weight Yarn for large Hamster Cotton Crochet Thread for small Hamster Tapestry Needle Poly Fill Size G crochet Hook for large Hamster Size B crochet Hook for small Hamster sC - single crochet tr - triple crochet shell - 6 triple crochet in one stitch st - stitch ch - chain sl st - slip stitch 2 tog - decrease stitch, sc two stitches together Directions are for the Large and Small Hamster, stitches are the same.
Body starting at nose:
Ch 2 Row 1 - make 6 sc's in $2^{\mathsf{n d}}$ ch from hook. Sl st into 1st sc. Ch 1 (6 sc's) Row 2 - Sc in each st around. Sl st into $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ sc. Ch 1 (6 sc) Row 3 - 2 sc's in st around. Sl st into $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ sC. Ch 1 (12 sc's) Row 4 - Sc in same st, 2 sc's in next. Repeat around. Sl st into 1st sc. Ch 1 (18 sc's) Row 5 - Sc in same st, sc in next sts, 2 sc's in next. Repeat around. Sl st into 1st sc. Ch 1 (24 sc's) Row 6 - Sc in same st, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc's in next. Repeat around. Sl st into 1st sC. Ch 1 (30 sc's) Row 7 - Sc in same st, sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc's in next. Repeat around. Sl st into 1st SC. Ch 1 (36 sc's) Row 8 and 9 - Sc in each stitch around. (36 sc's) Row 10 - Sc in $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ 14 sts, make a shell in next st, sc in next 6, make a shell in next, sc in next 14 sts. Sl st into $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ SC. Ch 1 Row 11 - Sc in 1st 14 sts, sc in center behind of shell on Row 10, sc in next 6 sts, sc in center behind of shell on Row 10, sc in next 14 sts. Sl st into 1st sc. Ch 1 Row 12 through 19 - Sc in each stitch around (36 sc's). Sl st into 1st sc. Ch 1.
ATTACH EYES AND NOSE
Row 20 - Sc in 1st 4 sts, sc 2 tog (decrease made), \* sc in next 4, sc 2 tog\* Repeat around. Sl st into $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ sC. Ch 1 (30 sc's) Row 21 - Sc in 1st 3 sts, sc 2 tog. \*sc in next 2 sts, sc 2 tog\* Repeat around. Sl st into 1st sc. Ch 1 (24 sc's) Row 22 - Sc in 1st 2 sts, sc 2 tog. \*sc in next 2 sts, sc 2 tog\* Repeat around. Sl st into $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ SC. Ch 1 (18 sc's)
Stuff body
Row 23 - sc in $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ st, sc 2 tog. $^\ast_{\mathsf{S C}}$ in next st, sc 2 tog \* Repeat around. Sl st into 1st sC. Ch 1 (12 sc's) Row 24 - sc 2 tog all around. Sl st into $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ SC. (6 sc's) Fasten Off. Close opening and weave in end.
Legs
Using a double strand of yarn, attach yarn anywhere on Row 10 ( I count 9 sc's from the botton of ear). Ch 5 and sc in the $2^{\mathsf{n d}}$ ch from hook and the next 3. Sc into Row 10. Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat this for the other front leg on the opposite side. Repeat this twice for the back legs in Row 20. PATTERNS: I do not have a problem with anyone selling finished items from my original Patterns as long as they are not sold ONLINE. Craft shows, private sales, retail shops, etc are ok, but not on any ONLINE sites like Etsy, Artfire, personal web sites, etc. I am working on several more patterns and plan on offering each pattern as a finished item within the next month on Etsy Thank you so much !
