Red Heart Kids, Caron Simply Soft 4 ply light worsted (I made a pair using each of theses yarns) Fhook tapestryneedle With a project like this. gauge and yarn weight should not be terribly important. The pattern should work out pretty well with any of them that you would like to use.

Round 1 (Toe loop). Ch 15, join, taking care not to twist chain. Round 2 (first loop): Ch 10. join with ss to same st that the 1" ss came out of. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in the st that the loop came out of. Ch 4 (this is the back side) join ch 4 to top middle of the loop you just made with a ss. Round 3 (second and third loop): Ch 10. join with ss to same st that you joined the ch 4 of the previous round to. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss to the st that the loop came out of. (This is the second loop) Ch 10. join with ss in the same st that ch 10 started from. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in same st that ch 10 started from. (This is the third loop. You should now have 2 side by side loops) Ch 5 Round 4 (fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth loop): Ch 10 from last st of ch 5. join with ss to to st of ch 5 from end of previous rnd. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in same st that ch 10 started from. Ch 4 (this is the back side) join ch 4 to top middle of the loop you just made with a ss. (This is the fourth loop) Ch 1o. Join with ss to same st that the 1" ss came out of. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in the same st that ch 10 started from. Ch 4 (this is the back side) join ch 4 to top middle of the loop you just made with a ss. (This is the fifth loop) Ch 10. Join with ss to same st that the 1" ss came out of. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in the same st that ch 10 started from. (This is the sixth loop) Ch 10. Join w ss to same st as previous loop. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in same st as you joined the previous loop. (This is the seventh loop. You should now have 2 side by side loops) Ch 10. Join w ss to same st as previous loop. Turn and ss in each ch back around loop. Join w ss in same st as you joined the previous loop. (This is the eighth loop) ch 4 and join to top center of the last loop with a s. Ties: Continuing from last ss, ch 60. fasten off. Join yarn in same stitch as the first of the chain 60.
