Christmas Wreath Decoration $\copyright$ Robyn Stambaugh
Materials: Size H crochet hook Large hair elastic Red Heart Super Saver or other acrylic yarn in green and small amount in red or other coordinating color Scissors Sewing needle Beads (optional)

Wreath Rnd 1: Attach green to hair elastic with sc. Sc around elastic until the elastic is no longer seen (enough so that the sts bunch up a little), sl st to first sc. Ch 3. Rnd 2: Dc in each st around, sl st to top of ch-3 Rnd 3: Sc in first st, $^{*}\mathrm{ch}\,3$ , sc in next $\mathrm{d}\mathbf{c}^{*}$ around. Join with sl st to first st. Do NOT fasten off. Hanger: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 40 (or length desired) and join with sc to next st. Fasten off and weave in ends, making the end with the hanger very secure. Finishing: There are several options for finishing the wreath and you can go as creative or as bland as you want. Pictured at the top is a very basic wreath where red yarn is threaded through the stitches of the second round.

To the right is one where I put red beads on a length of chain stitches and wove it through the stitches of the second round. You can also weave the yarn though the last round of stitches and tie is as a bow at the top, bottom or side. It's uptoyou!
