3 skein of 4-ply Mongolian Cashmere by Jade Sapphire (55g/200yds, 100% cashmere) in colorway #174 Dinosaur Dawn NEEDLE SIZE US 6 (4 mm) straight needles GAUGE 22 stitches 28 rows over 4" (10 cm) in garter stitch SIZE one size FINISHED MEASUREMENT: 8" (20 cm) wide and 76" (193 cm) long

CO 44 stitches leaving a 5" tail. The Garter Only Scarf is entirely made out of the knit stitch. The first stitch is always slipped purl wise with yarn in front. This makes for a nice and crispedge.

Step 1:

Row 1: With yarn in front slip the first stitch as if to purl. Bring the yarn to the back in between the needles and K to end. Repeat row 1 until you run out of yarn. Step 2: BO loosely and weave in the ends. Blocking is not necessary.
