Bookmark Sanquhar Rose & Trellis

Beautiful samples of the Sanquhar patterns can be found at futuremuseum.co.uk/ The bookmark is worked in the double knitting technique, which is not explained in detail here. I recommend lace weight yarn and 1.5mm DPs. The pattern have 15 pair of stitches and 75 rows, including the selvedge stitches (2+13=15). Cast on 15 stitch pairs and follow the chart. The pattern is repeated two more times. Then knit three rows with background color (= black) Cast off, weave in the ends and block the bookmark. Happy Knitting!
