
Perfect ears that stand up!
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn, 2 colors (I used Knit Picks Wool of the Andes) F hook sizes smaller than recommended YarnNeedle Hat to attach ears to! Guage: Not needed.
Stitches:
MR- Magic Ring Ch- Chain Dc- Double Crochet Sc- Single Crochet S1 St- Slip Stitch
Pattern:
Inner Ear, make 2 1. 12 dc in MR, join to 1" dc. Finish off and weave in ends. Set aside. Outer Ear, with 2"d color, follow directions for inner ear, do not join, sl st inner and outer ears together as follows: with wrong sides facing, insert hook in 1'" st of outer ear and in 1" st of inner ear, complete sl st) ch 1, turn, (inner ear should be facing you now), 2 sc in ea st around (24 sc) do not join. Sl st in next 3 sts (mark 1 sl st), sc in ea st to last 2 sc, sl st in last 2 sc.Finish off leaving a long tail. Use tail to attach ears to hat.
