MATERIALS NEEDED:
Aunt Lydia's Crochet Thread, Classic (Size 10), in the following color sequence for the entire Motif (or colors of your choice): OCEAN (1 ball); BRIDAL BLUE (1 ball); DELFT (1 ball); WHITE (3 balls); SHADES OF BLUE (5 balls); DARK ROYAL (4 balls); NAVY (4 balls). Hook - No 5 / 1.50 mm (Tulip, Japan.) Scissors. First off, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the talented and generous crocheter from www.sheruknitting.com for allowing me to share her videos in my pattern, regarding this square motif.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k bmn3NOblLk - Part 1 Video - shows you how to crochet the square motif that I used to make the dress. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n xMu018Cm9E - Part 2 Vide0 - shows you how to connect 4 squares together on each side and the center corner. You'll need 36 squares in total = 3 (Right sleeve and shoulder) + 3 (Left sleeve and shoulder) + 15 (Front) + 15 (Back). This dress will fit best sizes S, M, L. For a fitted look, use a belt or anything else you like. XL and larger - definitely change the amount of squares per width row.. and length rows - depending on your preferences. CONSTRUCTION OF THE DRESS OR MOTIFS' LAYOUT Front/Back view:

Also, you might want to edge your dress at the skirt and sleeves, like I did. But it's okay if you don't edge it either. But if you choose to, any edging will do. Below, there's the chart pattern image for my dress' edging. Stitches employed here are: Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, 4 double crochet together, picot out of 3 chain stitches.
