Pattern Notes:
I added a links for a video tutorials for both the square and joining method. The square pattern can be adapted to make larger squares. I added 1 more row for a total of 4 rows for my bag. The flat braid joining method can also be adapted for any size square. You can also use it for any other square motif you wish to use.
Materials for bag:
Size D (3.25mm) crochet hook Fingering / sock yarn ---I used 38 total assorted mini yarn skeins each weighing 5 gms each Tapestry/yarn needle for sewing and weaving in ends
Instructions:
For the body of the bag, work a total of 30 squares joining as shown in the links above using the basic / solid granny square pattern and/or video and flat braid joining method. The diagrams and finishing techniques are shown in the pages that follow.

\*\*When finished connecting the squares, weave in ends. How the bag should look once all the squares have been joined and single crochet row added to loops at top of bag (edging):
