Materials:
505 (595, 660, 740) yards of 500 yard per pound rayon chenille (super bulky) US size 7 $(4.5\mathrm{mm})$ needles US size 7 $(4.5\mathrm{mm})$ , $16"$ circular needle 2 stitch holders Yarn needle Gauge: $11\%$ stitches and $26\%$ rows over a 4x4 inch swatch in stockinette stitch using US size 7 $(4.5\mathrm{mm})$ needles or size needed to get gauge.
Abbreviations:
Garter stitch - knit every row. Stockinette stitch - knit every row on the public side, purl on the wrong side. k -knit p- purl
Back:
Using US size 7 $(4.5\mathrm{mm})$ needles, cast on 58 (64, 70, 76) sts loosely. Work in garter stitch for $1\,\,^{1}\!/\!_{2}$ inches. Change to stockinette stitch and work evenly until piece measures $10\%$ $10\;\%$ , $10\%$ $10\%$ ) inches. [Note: if you are "well endowed", continue to work even until piece measures 3 additional inches, i.e. $I O^{l}\!/\!4+3=I3^{l}\!/\!4J.$ Armhole shaping: Bind off 2 (2, 3, 3) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Work 10 (14, 16, 18) rows, decreasing one stitch at each end of next row, and every following alternate row, until 44 (46, 48, 52) sts remain.\*\* Work evenly until armhole measures 8 $(8\,\%,8,9\,\%)$ inches. Front:
Follow instructions as for back until \*\*. Work evenly until armhole measures $\mathfrak{H}/4\,\left(\,3\%,\,3\%,\,4\right)$ inches. Shape neck: Work 18 (18, 19, 21) sts. Slip the next 8 (10, 10, 10) sts to a stitch holder. Join second ball of yarn. With second ball of yarn, work remaining 18 (18, 19, 21) sts. Decrease one stitch at each neck edge every row 4 (4, 4, 5) times, then decrease one stitch at each neck edge every alternate row 5 (4, 5, 5) times, until 9 (10, 10, 11) sts remain. Work evenly until armhole measures 8 $(8\%,9,9\%)$ inches. Bind off 9 (10, 10, 11) sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Sleeves:
Make two. Cast on 40 (46 50, 56)sts loosely, using US size 7 needles. Work garter stitch for $1\%$ inches. Change to stockinette stitch and work 2 rows. Shape sleeve cap: Bind off 2 (2, 3, 3) sts at beginning of next two rows. Work 16 (17, 17, 17) rows, one stitch at each end of next row and every following row, until 4 (8, 10, 16) sts remain. If your last row was a knit row, purl across, and then bind offthe remaining 4 (8, 10, 16) sts loosely. If your last row was a purl row, then bind off the remaining 4 (8, 10, 16) sts loosely.
Finishing:
Shoulders: Sew front and back shoulder pieces together. Neck band: With the right side of the work facing, and US size 7, 16" circular needle, knit 26 (26, 28, 30) sts from back stitch holder, pick up and knit 18 (19, 19, 21) sts from left front edge, knit 8 (10, 10, 10) sts from front stitch holder, and pick up and knit 18 (19, 19, 21) sts from right front edge. Join work. Work 5 rows of garter stitch beginning with a purl row. Bind off ll sts using the knit stitch. Sew in sleeve caps. Sew side seams and sleeve seams. Weave in all ends.
